LIMEHOUSE LIZZY
'Breakout' of the Axiom
to play at Branson's

Wayne Ellis Bass and Lead Singer of LIMEHOUSE LIZZY

On Thursday 29th June 2000 I went to yet another Limehouse Lizzy gig. This was the third time I had seen the band and due to the closure of the Axiom in February this gig happened at Branson's which was a new venue for them, and a venue which I had attended in 1996 when it was known as "The Colloseum".

Although this was my third time of seeing the band I was not dissapointed as they still came out with some gems which I either had not heard for a long time like "Dear Miss Lonely Heart", or (as in one case) did not even know.

The line-up for the band was:-

The night started with "Jailbreak" complete with police lights and sirens, and continued with tracks like "Warrior", "Southbound", "Bad Reputation", and the usual two favourites "Whiskey In The Jar" and "The Boys Are Back In Town" to name but a few.

Once again I really enjoyed the evening and I actually prefer the "Branson's" venue to the Axiom.
